Confirmation
Confirmation is the rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. Those wishing to be confirmed must have been baptized, sufficiently instructed in the Christian Faith, penitent for their sins, and ready to affirm their confession of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is administered by the bishop rather than by a priest. As such, it is only offered during bishop visitations. Contact the office or any of the clergy to discuss preparation for the sacrament.
